You may think that a natural chamois is best because it's natural - think again! You need to pre-condition them to remove tanning oil, they dry stiff and can grow mould if left rolled or folded when wet. Sure, a natural chamois has excellent water absorption, but in the process it grabs the surface making it difficult to use.
